Getting out of bed on a hard morning counts. Not every win comes with a scoreboard.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Most things that count have no record kept of them. Getting up when the day looks unmanageable is real work, and it stays invisible precisely because the result is an ordinary morning whose cost nobody can see. Scoreboards exist for a narrow set of activities, and that set has very little to do with what is actually difficult.
If today took more than it looks like it took, let that stand as the win. Say so to yourself plainly, without measuring it against somebody else’s day. Then do the next small thing.
Which hard morning did you get through without credit?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
