If your opinions change every time someone else picks the music, check whose opinions they are.

REFLECTION
Agreeing is easy and nearly invisible, which is how it can go on for years. If your view of a song, a team or a person reliably arrives after somebody more confident has spoken, those positions are on loan and you are maintaining them for free. Having no fixed view feels open-minded and is often just deference.
Try noticing the half-second before you speak, where your actual reaction lives, and say that instead. Disagree once this week about something trivial, which is low-risk practice. You are not being contrary; you are finding out which of your opinions survive without an audience nodding.
Whose preferences have you adopted without ever examining them?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
