Notice what time disappears for. That’s a clue about who you are.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Interest is easier to measure than to introspect about. You can sit and wonder what you care about for an hour and get nowhere, while the activities that swallow a whole afternoon without asking permission have already answered the question. The evidence is in where the clock goes missing, not in what you would like to be true.
Keep a rough record for a week of what you were doing when you lost track of time. Do not judge the entries, including the ones that embarrass you. Then protect a little more room for whatever came top and see whether it holds up with more space.
What were you doing the last time hours vanished?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
