Output is not consistent and never has been, for anybody. The good one comes out of the same process that produces the mediocre ones, and there is no method for making only the good ones, because you cannot tell which it is until it exists. Volume is the only reliable way through.
Set a quantity target this week instead of a quality target: five drawings, three songs, a page a day. Finish the bad ones rather than abandoning them, since finishing is the skill. Keep everything for a month before you judge it, because your opinion on the day is the least accurate one you will ever have.
How much mediocre work are you willing to make first?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
