A river never flows uphill to fix its mistakes. It just keeps finding a new way down.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Going back is rarely available, and energy spent trying to undo something goes entirely into the one direction that is closed. What stays open is the next route, which may look nothing like the one you planned and still gets you somewhere. Water does not deliberate about the boulder it already hit. It looks for the next gap.

If something went wrong this week that you cannot unwind, write down what you can do from here rather than what you should have done. Apologise where one is owed, then move. Keep the lesson and let go of the rerun.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which mistake are you trying to undo instead of route around?
