Melt down a coin and you can stamp it into something new. Being broken down isn’t always the end of your value.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Being taken apart is not the same as being used up. The metal in a coin keeps every bit of its worth when the shape is gone, and the shape was never the valuable part, only the most recognizable one. When a plan, a team or a version of yourself comes undone, what you learned and what you are made of survives the melt. The stamp was the easiest thing about you to replace.

If something you built has fallen apart lately, name three things you still have from it. Skills, a friend, a standard. Those go into the next thing.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What could you rebuild from something of yours that broke?
