Strength and fragility can live in the same material. A pane will hold a surprising load spread across it and shatter from one small hit in the wrong spot, which is a fair description of most people you know. Somebody can carry a job, a sport and a hard family situation and then come apart over a comment about their shoes. The breaking point is rarely proportional to the thing that found it.
Assume everyone around you has a sharp spot you cannot see. Be careful with your aim this week, especially when you are right and tempted to press.
