Shade on a hot day is just a shadow somebody else is casting for you. Be that for someone.

Shade is somebody else’s shadow working in your favor. A wall, a tree, an awning, a person who stood between you and the heat without being asked. On a bad day you have almost certainly been in shade you did not notice and did not thank anyone for, because that kind of cover is quiet by nature. It is also something you can provide without any particular talent.

Be cover for one person this week. Sit next to whoever is getting it worst, take a job off somebody, say the thing that stops the teasing.
