Fit decides whether something looks wrong or looks necessary. One piece alone is an odd shape with no obvious purpose, and in the right place it is the only shape that could possibly work, and nothing about the piece changed. People get judged the same way. The trait that is a problem in one room is the whole reason you are wanted in another.

If you feel like the wrong shape where you are, try one different room this week. A different club, a different table, a different group. You may be a fine piece in the wrong slot.
