Water finds the sea without any information about where the sea is. All it does is take the next downhill option, over and over, and the route that results looks wise afterwards and was not planned. Plenty of good lives are built that way. Not from a map of the whole thing, but from repeatedly choosing the next honest, obvious, slightly better option in front of you.
Stop trying to see the whole route this week. Identify the next right thing, the one you already know, and do that. Then look again.
