Structures that feel fixed are mostly agreements, and agreements can be suspended without warning. That is unsettling when you were relying on them and oddly freeing when you were trapped by them, since the same fragility runs both ways. Plans are useful, and they are not the ground you stand on.

Make your plans this week with one hand open. Have a version of the day that survives a cancellation. And if something you were dreading gets called off, take the gift instead of filling the gap straight away.
