One great game gets you noticed. Three years of ordinary practices are what make you good.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Attention and ability come from different sources, and only one of them happens in public. The good night samples what the practices built; without them it is a fluke you cannot repeat. Chasing the noticing directly is a trap, because the only reliable way to be noticed is to be good.
Judge this week by the practices rather than the games. Ask whether you worked on the thing you are worst at or the thing you enjoy. Pick one weakness and give it ten minutes at every session until the end of the month. Nobody will comment on it, and that is a sign you are doing the right part.
Which ordinary practice of yours nobody sees is making you good?
