A no from a team, a school or a person is a no for now. Ask again later with more to show.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Most rejections are answers about a particular moment: this roster, this round of applications, how things stand between two people right now. They get heard as permanent because they feel final, though almost nothing in the decision was about forever. What changes it is not asking again in the same condition, but coming back with something different.

Revisit the no that still bothers you and write down what would have to be true for it to be a yes. Then spend a few months on exactly that, and ask again when you can point to it. A second ask with evidence is a completely different conversation.
