Not everyone asking about your plans needs the full version.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Questions about your plans are mostly conversation, not a request for a briefing. A short answer is a complete answer, and offering the whole thing to anyone who asks tends to give you more opinions than you were looking for. You decide what the detailed version is for and who gets it. That is not being cagey, it is just proportion.

Have a one-line answer ready for the next person who asks: working, saving, figuring it out. Use the same line for everybody who is only making conversation. Save the long version for the two or three people who are actually in it with you.
