Needing a day to recharge after a packed week isn’t antisocial. It’s maintenance.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Energy runs down the way a battery does, and a crowded week spends more of it than you notice while it is happening. Wanting a quiet day afterward is not a flaw in your character or proof that you dislike people. It is the cost of the week you just had, arriving slightly late. Everything works better once it has been paid.
Look at your next busy stretch and leave the day after it mostly empty on purpose. Tell anybody who asks that you already have plans, because you do.
After a full week, what does recovering actually look like for you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
