What you ignore doesn’t go away. It just stops asking politely.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Problems do not expire from being ignored, they only change tone. The thing that started as a small nagging question becomes an argument, a bad grade, an injury that needs six weeks off, and at every stage the fix was smaller than it is now. Nothing was unreasonable; you were just able to not hear it.

You almost certainly know what yours is, because one thing came to mind straight away. Do the small version of it this week: the message you have not sent, the teacher you need to talk to, the thing that hurts when you run. Early is cheap, and the price goes up quietly.
