Chefs taste as they go. Noticing early beats fixing late.

A cook who tastes at every stage catches the salt while it is one pinch out, not after the plate is served. Early mistakes are small and cheap, and they only become expensive when nobody checks. Most disasters are not one bad decision but a pile of small ones nobody tasted along the way.
Build one taste into something you are doing this week. Check your working after two problems instead of twenty, or ask your coach after one set whether the form looks right. Checking as you go feels slow and is the faster route.
What would you catch by checking your work partway through?
