What you photograph says what you noticed. Look at your camera roll and see what you’ve been looking for.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

A camera roll is an honest account of where your attention has been going, assembled without you meaning to make one. The ratio of faces to food to screenshots to skies tells you what you have been looking for this year. Nobody edits it to look good, which is what makes it more trustworthy than how you would describe yourself.

Scroll back a few months this week and read it as evidence rather than as memories. What is there a lot of, and what is missing. If there are no people in it, that is worth noticing. Then take one photo of something you would normally walk past.
