Artists pay attention to the empty space around a shape. What’s missing tells you a lot.

REFLECTION
Absence carries information. Painters watch the gaps around a shape because the empty space defines the form as much as the outline does, and the same habit reads situations: who was not invited, what the message carefully did not say, which subject nobody will raise. Looking only at what is present means reading half the page and feeling fully informed.
This week, when something feels off, ask what is missing rather than what is wrong. Name the thing that should be there and is not. That question tends to arrive at the answer much faster.
