The most helpful person is not always the loudest helper.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

The visible helper is often not the most useful one. Somebody is quietly doing the boring reliable work while somebody else is describing how much they want to assist. Noise about helping and actual help are almost unrelated, and confusing them means thanking the wrong people.

In any group, look for who is actually carrying things. Say so out loud, since those people are rarely told. And check which of the two you have been doing lately, honestly.
