You might be the only person who’ll ever know you skipped the shortcut. That’s exactly why it counts.

Integrity is mostly built out of invisible decisions. When nobody will ever check, the only thing holding the standard up is you, which is exactly what makes it yours instead of a rule somebody enforced. Credit is not the point. The point is finding out what you do without an audience, and that knowledge turns out to be load-bearing in rooms with higher stakes.

This week, find one place you could safely cut a corner and do not. Finish the set, read the chapter, redo the question you got right by guessing. Nobody will thank you, and you will be steadier anyway.
