Some people find themselves by leaving town. Some by staying. Neither one is the brave option by default.

WHAT THIS MEANS
Leaving is not automatically courage and staying is not automatically fear. Either can be the brave choice or the easy one, depending on what you are moving towards or away from, and from outside nobody can tell which. A move can be an escape with a good cover story, and staying can be a decision to build where you already are.
If you are weighing this, write what you are going towards and what you are getting away from in two columns. Be honest about the second, since it is usually the shorter and truer one. Talk it over with somebody who will not take a side.
