You only have so much energy a week. Spend it like a budget, not like a gift card you found.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Energy behaves like money, and almost nobody treats it that way. There is a fixed amount in a week, every commitment draws on it, and found time gets spent carelessly precisely because it felt free. Running out is not a character failure, it is arithmetic nobody did. A budget is less about restriction than about deciding in advance what gets the good hours.

List what is already committed this week and be honest about the cost of each, travel and recovery included. Then put the two things you care about most where you still have something left. Protect those two and let something smaller go undone.
