Some of your best qualities will feel like flaws in the wrong room. Sensitive, stubborn, intense. Find better rooms.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

A trait is not good or bad on its own, it depends on where it has been put. Sensitivity that makes you a liability in one group is what makes you the person somebody comes to in another; stubbornness is a problem until the thing you will not drop turns out to matter. Spending years sanding a quality down is often a worse answer than changing the room.

Name what you have been apologising for and find one place where it would be an asset. A team, a job, a friendship, a subject. Then go closer to that place rather than further from yourself. Some rooms are worth leaving.
