Admiring someone makes you want to grow. Resenting them makes you want them to shrink. Notice which one you feel.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Both feelings start in the same place, which is a comparison you did not ask to make. The difference is which way the energy points. Admiration makes you want to climb, and resentment wants the ladder shortened, which gets you nothing. Resentment is often admiration that gave up on itself.

Name one person whose success stings a little. Then say plainly what it is you want, since underneath the sting there is usually something you would like for yourself. Go after a small version of that this week instead of scrolling their life again.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Do you want that person smaller, or yourself bigger?
