You don’t have to have it all figured out to like who you’re becoming.

Two questions get tangled together: what you are going to do, and whether you like the person doing it. The first needs years and information you do not have yet. The second can be answered tonight, since it is about how you treat people and what you refuse to do. Being unsure about a career does not touch it.

Find one direction you approve of in yourself, however small. More honest than last year, better at staying when something is hard, kinder to the quiet kid. Keep going that way and let the plan arrive on its own schedule.
