Search makes answers easier to locate and questions more important to formulate.

Answers have become nearly free and questions have become the scarce input. Ask a vague one and you get an ocean of unusable material; ask a precise one and the answer is immediate. The skill has migrated entirely to the front of the process.

Spend longer on the question. Write it down, narrow it, work out what you actually want to know. That effort now pays back many times over, and it is the part almost nobody practices deliberately.
