Your search history won’t be your legacy. What you did when nobody was searching for you will be.

Private curiosity is not the same thing as character. Whatever you looked up at two in the morning says far less about you than what you did on an ordinary afternoon with nobody watching and nothing being recorded. Character is largely an unwitnessed activity, which is why it holds up so badly when faked over time.

Find one thing this week that nobody will know you did: returning the cart, cleaning up a mess you did not make, telling the truth when a lie was free. Notice that it still counts. The noticing is how the habit sets.
