The first boss who believed in you is part of every job you’ll ever have after.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Being trusted early changes what you think is normal. Somebody who handed you the keys or put you on the harder job before you had strictly earned it taught you that you are the sort of person things get handed to, and that belief walks into rooms where they are nowhere nearby. Confidence is usually borrowed before it is owned.
Think of whoever did that for you and say so, if you can still reach them. Then run it the other way: give a newer person something slightly past what they have proved. People grow into the size of the job they are trusted with.
