Things handed down arrive carrying the shape of whoever used them, and they do not fit you right away. The same is true of advice, a family trade, a name, a way of doing things. Some of what you were given will only make sense once you have used it long enough to wear your own shape into it.

Keep something you were handed that does not suit you yet instead of deciding it is not for you. Use it a few times this month and see what shifts.
