Thousands of videos, songs and posts will pass through you this year and leave very little behind. Consuming is frictionless, which is exactly why it never accumulates into anything. Making something is slow and awkward and leaves an object that still exists next year.

Pick one thing to finish before the year ends, however small or clumsy. It could be a song, a video, or a shelf, as long as it outlives your interest in it.
