The teacher who pushes you hard might believe in you more than the one who lets everything slide.

Letting work slide is easier for everybody in the short term and it carries a quiet message, which is that nothing more was expected. Being pushed is uncomfortable and usually means the opposite. A teacher who hands back a draft to be done again has decided you are capable of the better version. The feeling in the moment is a bad guide to which one is on your side.

Think about which class is hardest and ask yourself whether it is the teacher or the standard. Go and ask that teacher what they think you could fix. The answer will be specific and faster than any amount of guessing.
