Someone worth dating makes room for your people instead of competing with them.

A good person is not threatened by the fact that you were loved before they arrived. They want to meet your friends, remember their names, and hand you back to them sometimes. Somebody who makes you choose is not proving how much they care; they are shrinking the number of people who could tell you the truth.

Count how many of your friends you have seen in the last month without this person there. If the number has dropped, make a plan this week that is just yours. Notice how they respond, because the response tells you more than any promise.
