REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Losing your temper feels like it comes out of nowhere, but it almost always has a short list of causes: being interrupted, being tired, being called lazy, one particular person’s tone. Once the list is written down, the moment becomes something you can see arriving rather than something that happens to you.
Think back over the last few times you lost it and look for what they shared. Write two or three triggers in plain words. Then pick one and plan the move you make instead: leave the room, say you will answer later, eat something.
What situation makes you lose your temper almost every time?
