Most people have some area where they think the rules don’t apply to them. Find yours.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Almost everyone keeps one exemption. Speeding on an empty road, lateness, borrowing without asking, reusing an old essay, the small bit of dishonesty that feels like nothing because of who you are. The exemption is invisible from the inside, because it arrives with a reason attached that you find genuinely convincing.
Ask what rule you break with a clear conscience, and if nothing comes to mind, ask whoever shares a house with you. They will know. Then try following it exactly for a week and notice how much argument your own mind puts up.
Which rule do you assume was written for other people?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
