Small inconsistencies reveal where attention stopped.

REFLECTION
A small inconsistency is a marker of where someone got tired, lost interest, or ran out of time. Mismatched formatting, a name spelled two ways, a pattern that holds for the first three items and breaks on the fourth. None of it is important in itself, but each one shows the exact point at which attention ran out, and whatever came after that point was made with the same diminished care.
When you find one of these in your own work, do not just fix it. Look at what you did immediately afterwards, since that is likely where the real weakness sits, and check the tail end of anything you made while running low.
Where in your recent work did your attention quietly run out?
