Being late once is life. Being late every time is a message about how you see other people’s time.

One delay is an event and a pattern is a statement. Nobody reads a single late arrival as disrespect, because buses and alarms exist, but repeated lateness tells the people waiting that their time was available to spend and yours was not. That is rarely what anyone means and it is what gets received.
Pick the one appointment you are always late for and change something structural about it. Leave ten minutes earlier, or set the alarm for the leaving time rather than the arriving time. Being on time twice in a row gets noticed.
Who waits for you so often that they expect it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
