Rounding a grade up does not move the grade. It only creates a second thing to manage: the gap between what people believe and what the portal says. Now every conversation about school has a small trapdoor in it, and you are the one standing over it. The grade itself was survivable, and the upkeep is what wears you out.
If you have inflated a number recently, you can let the air out quietly. Tell one person the real figure with no drama attached, and notice that the sky stays up. Then put the energy you were spending on the story into the next test.
Which result have you rounded up when telling people about it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
