Replaying your mistake fifty times isn’t accountability. Fixing it once is.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Going over a mistake again and again can feel like taking it seriously, and it has the shape of responsibility without any of the work. Replaying keeps everything inside your own head, where nothing changes and nobody is helped. A single repair moves the thing out in the world. The discomfort is not the payment, the fix is.
If something is looping, write down the one action it is asking for and do that today, even if it is only a message. Then when the loop starts again, you can answer it with what you already did. Replaying after the repair is interest on a debt you paid.
What are you rehearsing in your head instead of repairing?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
