A wait can carry information. Not everything slow is being denied, and some delays function as a course correction, holding you in place while conditions change or while you become someone who can handle what is coming. From the inside it looks identical to nothing happening.

When you are waiting, ask what the wait makes possible rather than only what it costs. Use the time to prepare rather than to check. Whatever the delay turns out to mean, the preparation will not be wasted.
