Success is expensive when you purchase it with everything you wanted success to improve.

Most people want success for something, for security, for their family, for a calmer life. The trap is spending exactly those things to get it, so that when you arrive the reason has been used up. The health is gone, the relationships have thinned, and the thing you were buying is no longer purchasable.
Name what you actually want success to protect or provide. Then check whether your current pace is consuming that very thing. If it is, the arithmetic does not work no matter how well the work goes.
What are you sacrificing that you hoped success would protect?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
