A full table can still have someone afraid to ask for what they need.

RESILIENCE
Abundance in the room does not automatically make asking possible. Someone can sit at a full table and still not say they are hungry, or that they cannot eat what is there, or that they need something different. The obstacle is not supply but the cost of drawing attention to a need.
If you are the host or the senior person, make asking cheap: offer specifically, more than once, and normalise it by saying what you need yourself. If you are the one who cannot ask, start with a low-stakes request in a safe room. The capacity to state a need is built through practice, and a table is a reasonable place to practise.
