A hazard can migrate from one person to another when a solution only moves it out of sight.

RESILIENCE
A solution that moves a hazard has not removed it. Waste sent elsewhere, risk pushed onto a subcontractor, a difficulty shifted to a different department: the problem is gone from view and present in someone else’s life. Out of sight is a genuine improvement for you and no improvement at all.
When a fix works suspiciously quickly, ask where the difficulty went. Someone is usually holding it. This is worth checking in households as much as in organisations, since a great deal of domestic peace is produced by one person absorbing what has been moved out of everyone else’s way.
