Walking away can be strength when staying only proves you can tolerate damage.

STILLNESS
Endurance is a real virtue and it has a limit past which it just proves you can be hurt without leaving. Staying in something damaging is often framed as loyalty or strength, and sometimes it genuinely is, but sometimes it is only demonstrating tolerance to an audience of one.
Ask what staying is actually accomplishing beyond the fact of staying. If the honest answer is nothing, that is information rather than a verdict on your character. Leaving can be the stronger act.
Where would leaving serve you better than enduring more damage?
