An unanswered question can remain productive without becoming a belief.

CREATIVITY
You are allowed to keep a question open. Holding something unresolved is not the same as adopting a belief about it, and an open question can go on generating attention, curiosity, and careful looking for years without ever being converted into a position. The discomfort of not knowing pushes us to close prematurely.
Pick something you have been quietly certain about mainly because uncertainty was uncomfortable, and try demoting it back to a question. Say I do not know yet, and notice that nothing collapses. The capacity to live with an open question is one of the more useful things you can build, and it grows with practice.
Which open question do you actually enjoy keeping open?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
