A jar reused for another purpose outlives the intention printed on its label.

CREATIVITY
Purpose is not fixed by whoever assigned it first. A container built and labelled for one thing goes on being useful for another long after its stated function is finished, and the label becomes an inaccurate description of a working object. Things exceed their original briefs.
Hold that lightly against your own labels, the title you were given, the role you were hired into, the description of you that got fixed years ago. It may no longer describe what you do or what you are for. You do not need permission to be repurposed, and you can outlast the printing.
What of yours ended up serving a purpose it was never made for?
