A team needs people willing to do the useful part that does not earn the loudest response.

LEADERSHIP
Every group has work that matters and gets no applause. The notes, the setup, the covering, the unglamorous position that makes someone else’s contribution possible: none of it appears in the summary, and all of it determines whether the summary is any good. Since attention flows to the visible part, people learn to compete for that, and the necessary work goes to whoever is willing to be less noticed. That willingness is worth naming rather than assuming.
Name one person this week whose contribution never gets mentioned. Then take a piece of the invisible work yourself, especially if you usually have the visible role.
