Some things do not need to be argued for. They simply take up their space and the alternative recedes, which is a different mode of operating than debate and often far more effective. Presence does what persuasion cannot, and it does it without the exhausting engagement.

Where you have been arguing to establish something, consider just doing it consistently instead. Show up, behave the way you claim, let the pattern accumulate. Some positions are better held than defended.
