The person confused by a design may be revealing what its maker learned to overlook.

REFLECTION
Familiarity erases problems without fixing them. After enough time with something you built, the odd step becomes muscle memory, the confusing label becomes obvious, and you genuinely cannot see the place where a stranger stops. Their confusion is not a failure of attention. It is the last accurate reading anyone will ever take of the thing.
Watch someone use what you made without helping them, and write down every place they pause. Do not explain, and do not treat a question as a complaint. The pauses are a map you lost the ability to draw yourself.
What have you stopped seeing in something you know well?
