The person who planned the journey deserves some hours without being its manager.

Whoever booked the trip usually keeps working through it. They hold the times, the tickets, the reservation nobody else remembers, and answer the small questions all day, which means they are the only person not actually on holiday. It rarely gets noticed, because the work is invisible and they are good at it. By the third day they are tired in a way that can look like being difficult.

If you are travelling with someone who organised it, take a full day and run everything yourself, decisions included. If you are the organiser, hand the folder over and say you are off duty until dinner.
